About us / Over ons Wij zijn Noel & Ruth Wandelaere-Driessens en we kochten onze eerste Tibetaanse Mastiff in Estland in 2013.  Zijn naam is "Baruto".  Zijn vader komt uit China en zijn moeder uit Europese bloedlijnen.  Na de aanschaf van Baruto hadden we de smaak te pakken en reisden we verschillende keren naar China zelf om honden aan te schaffen.  De Tibetaanse Mastiff is een heel oud ras en is één van de grootste rassen die 14 à 15 jaar oud kunnen worden.  Het is een rustige hond die je overal mee naartoe kan nemen en die mooi bij zijn baas blijft liggen (bv. op een terrasje of op restaurant).  De Tibetaanse Mastiff is echter een hele goede waker en ze zijn zeer beschermend tegenover hun baasjes, dus goed socialiseren is absoluut noodzakelijk.  Ook wel interessant om te weten: de vacht van een Tibetaanse Mastiff ruikt niet... . We are Noel & Ruth Wandelaere-Driessens and we bought our first Tibetan Mastiff in Estland in 2013.  He name is "Baruto".  His father originates from China and his mother has European bloodlines.  After Baruto we fell in love with the breed and we travelled to China on numerous occasions to buy dogs. The Tibetan Mastiff is an ancient breed and also one of the biggest breeds that can live up to 14 or 15 years of age.  It is an easy going dog that you can take along with you just about anywhere and he's also capable of lying quietly next to you (f.e. at a restaurant or on a terrace). The Tibetan Mastiff is also a very capable watch dog and they are very protective towards the people they know, so a very solid socialisation is absolutely necessary.  Also interesting to know: the coat of a Tibetan Mastiff doesn't smell bad... . Nous sommes Noel & Ruth Wandelaere-Driessens et nous avons acheté notre premier Do-Khyi en Estonie en 2013.  Son nom est "Baruto". Son père est un vrai Chinois et sa mère est d'origine Européenne.  Nous avons acheté plusieurs Do-Khyis directement en Chine, le pays originaire du Do-Khyi. Le Do-Khyi est un race ancien et il peut devenir 14 à 15 ans.  C'est un chien calme - vous pouvez le prendre partout (p.ex. au restaurant ou sur une terrasse).    Le Do-Khyi est un vrai gardien et il est très protectif pour ses maîtres - une socialisation excellente est d'abord vraiment nécessaire.  Intéressant à savoir: le poil d'un Do-Khyi n'a pas un mauvais odeur... . © From Lei Sheng 2018 - Webdesign: Dogsite.be
